Bangladesh - Inland Container Depot (ICD)

Calling for investments to set up an Inland Container Depot (ICD) with private ownership. Planned location at the west side of Jaica Ring Road, opposite to Export Processing Zone (EPZ), at Halishahar, Chittagong. There is an existing main road. The Chittagong Port is also in the same area, hence there will be extra advantage in maintaining short operational cycle. The available land is 12 acres. According to various reports of 2018, since a deep sea port will be established, the way to Chittagong Port will have much more traffic flow, experts have suggested to 10 more ICDs to absorb the influx.
